제주도 남부연안에서 처음으로 채집된 4개체(체장 31.2~53.6 mm)를 근거로 국내 최초의 지하수계 서식 희귀 망둑어류인 Luciogobius pallidus를 한국미기록종으로 보고한다. 본 종은 체색이 주홍색이며 눈이 피부 아래에 매몰되어 있고, 제 2등지느러미 기조수는 1극조 10~11연조, 뒷지느러미 기조수는 1극조, 10~12연조, 가슴지느러미 기조수는 13~15연조, 척추골수는 36개인 특징이 있다. 본 종의 신한국명은 '주홍미끈망둑'이라 제안한다.
