본 논문은 얼라인먼트 배경과 얼라인먼트 문제를 분석하고, 조직의 혁신적인 경쟁력을 증진시키도록 비즈니스와 정보기술의 얼라인먼트를 구현하기 위해서 비즈니스와 IT 얼라인먼트를 위한 데이터 거버넌스의 실제적인 모델을 기술한다. 비즈니스와 정보기술 얼라인먼트는 비즈니스 운영에서 중요한 역할을 한다. 데이터 거버넌스는 조직에서 비즈니스와 정보기술의 얼라인먼트 요구를 해결하는 것으로 입증된 새로운 접근이다. 본 논문에서는 데이터 거버넌스 모델을 제안하고, 이것을 실제로 구현한 내용을 통하여 그 효율성을 입증한다. 이것은 모든 비즈니스 조직에서 좋은 품질의 데이터 관리를 위하여 효율적인 모델로 벤치마킹 될 수 있을 것이다.
