소아에서 CT 검사의 이용이 증가하는 이유는 무엇인가? | CT 검사는 짧은 검사시간으로 임상적 유용성이 높아 촬영건수가 매년 증가하고 있으며 특히 우리나라는 사용빈도 증가 추세가 다른 선진국보다 높다. 또한 소아에서도 CT 검사의 이용이 증가하고 있는데, 이는 다중채널 전산화단층촬영장치(multi-detector computed tomography, MDCT)기술의 발달로 영상의 질이 좋아졌고 몇 초 만에 검사가 가능하여 환자에 대한 진정의 필요성이 감소되었고, 또한 협조가 잘 되지 않는 소아 환자들에도 촬영에 가능해졌기 때문이다. 그러나 소아 CT의 목적은 환자의 불편함과 방사선 노출을 최소화 하면서 최적의 진단 영상을 획득하는 것이다[4]. |
