석사과정 개설 이전, 감염관리간호사들은 감염관리업무를 시작하기 위해, 어떤 교육을 받았는가? | 또한 개정된 의료법에 따라 임상대학원의 감염관리전공 석사과정이 개설되면서 자격시험을 통하여 보건복지부로부터 전문간호사 자격증을 받은 간호사들이 배출되게 되었다(Yi & Choi, 2011). 석사과정 개설 이전 감염관리교육은 서울의 국립대학병원에서 개최하는 한 달간의 감염관리과정이나, 대한병원감염관리학회에서 개최되고 있는 연수과정 등을 통해 재교육이 이루어져 왔다. 이렇듯 한국의 감염관리간호사들은 석사과정이 개설되기 전부터 업무를 시작한 경우와 전문과정을 이수한 인력이 혼재하면서 다양한 임상 및 교육배경을 가지고 있어, 실제 감염관리 업무 에서 필수적인 감염관리간호사로서의 역량이 어느 정도 되는 지에 대한 기본적인 실태조사가 필요한 시점이라고 생각된다. |
