본 연구는 대학병원에 근무하는 임상병리사들의 감정노동, 직무만족도, 소진수준과의 관련성을 파악하고자 대전광역시에 소재한 4개 대학병원에서 근무하고 있는 임상병리사 145명을 대상으로 2013년 4월 10일부터 19일까지의 기간 동안에 표준화된 자기기입식 설문지(self-administered questionnaire)를 이용한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 위계적 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 소진에 영향을 미치는 변수들의 설명력은 인구사회학적 특성 및 건강관련행위특성변수가 투입됨으로서 21.7%의 설명력을 증가시켰고, 다음으로 감정노동 하위변수가 투입됨으로서 16.8%, 직무만족도 하위변수가 투입됨으로서 8.2%의 설명력을 증가시키고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과로 보아 소진에 영향을 주는 변수로는 감정노동이 직무만족도보다 높은 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 임상병리사들의 감정노동에 대한 관리가 필요하다고 사료된다.
