근위축성 측삭경화증의 치료제로 알려진 것은? ALS의 치료제로 알려진 Riluzole이 환자의 생존기간을 연장하며, 호흡부전에 이르지 않도록 질병의 진행 속도를 늦추는 효과가 있다고 알려져 있지만, 아직 운동계 질환 손상을 막을 수 있는 치료법은 없는 것으로 알려져 있다5). 그러나 김6)의 보고에서 조기 진단 및 치료와 적절한 재활이 환자의 예후를 결정하는 중요한 인자임을 강조하고 있다.
