대표적인 유기실리콘을 구성하는 단위체는 무엇인가? | 탄소수소대신에 유기 규소화합물로 소수성을 부여한 계면활성제를 유기실리콘 또는 실리콘계 계면활성제라고 한다. 대표적인 실리콘계 계면활성제는 디메칠실록산[dimethylsiloxane :-(CH3)2SiO)-]을 소수기의 기본단위로 구성되어 실록산 계면활성제(siloxane surfactant)라고 부른다. 탄소와 실리콘은 주기율표에서 같은 IV A 족에 위치하여 원자가 전자수(4)와 oxidation number(산화수 : 4) 가 동일하지만 원자의 크기, 최외각 전자배열, 전기음성도 등이 상이함에 따라(Table 2), 다른 원자와 공유결합을 형성할 때 탄소공유결합과 실리콘공유결합들의 결합에너지(bond dissociation energy)와 결합길이가 달라진다 (Table 3)[9. |
