따라서 본 연구의 목적은 골프참여자들의 운동 몰입에 영향을 미치는 지도자 신뢰, 지도자들의 비언어적 커뮤니케이션 활용이 어떠한 관계성을 가지고 있는지 알아보고 급변하는 골프 지도 환경에 따른 골프 지도자와 참여자 사이에 다양한 소통 방법을 제시하는데 있다.

제안 방법
Sundaram & Webster가 제시하고 김민주, 박진경, 김상국, 이한성에 의해서 사용된 적이 있는 설문지를 본 연구에 맞게 재구성하여 사용하였다[9,27,28].
Sirdeshmukh, Singh와 Sabol이 제시하고 송윤재, 김원기가 사용한 적이 있는 설문지를 본 연구에 맞게 수정하여 사용하였다[29,30,31]. 이 조사도구는 단일 요인으로 4문항으로 구성되어 있다.
정용각이 국내 실정에 맞게 개발한 도구를 본 연구에 맞게 수정, 보완하여 사용하였으며 총 12문항으로 구성하였다[32]. 각 문항은 5점 Likert 척도로 구성되었으며, 1점은 ‘전혀 그렇지 않다’.

대상 데이터
서울, 경기 지역의 실내외 골프 연습장에서 골프 강습을 받고 있거나 받은 경험이 있는 아마추어 골퍼들을 대상으로 비확률 표본추출법 중 편의표본추출법을 사용하여 2015년 8월초에서 9월말까지 총 2개월에 걸쳐 300명을 대상으로 조사가 이루어 졌다. 조사대상자에게 직접 응답을 요구하는 자기평가기입법으로 응답을 요구하였다.

그 결과 비언어적 커뮤니케이션 조사도구의 신뢰도는 α=.972, SMC값은 .4이상의 문항을 사용하였으며, 요인구조 모형 적합도는 RMR=.003, GFI=.977, NFI=.992, CFI=.993으로 수용할 만한 결과를 나타내었다.

둘째, 비언어적 커뮤니케이션이 운동 몰입에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 비언어적 커뮤니케이션의 세부내용 중 지도자의 시선 처리, 눈 맞춤과 같은 신체적 표현이 참여자들로 하여금 주의를 집중하게 하여 운동을 함에 있어 더욱 몰입하게 만든 것으로 보인다.
그 결과 골프지도자의 비언어적 커뮤니케이션은 지도자 신뢰에 정적인 영향을 미쳤으며(β=.922, p<.001), 운동 몰입에도 정적인 영향을 미쳤다(β=.617, p<.001).
셋째, 골프 지도자 신뢰가 운동 몰입에 미치는 영향에 대해서는 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 신뢰라고 하는 것은 상대방이 자신의 기대에 호응도가 높음을 말한다[36].
따라서, 골프 지도자의 비언어적 커뮤니케이션은 참여자들이 느끼는 지도자 신뢰와 운동 몰입에 긍정적인 역할을 하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 새롭게 변해만 가는 골프 강습 현장에서 참여자들의 적극적인 운동참여와 지도자 신뢰의 향상과 관련하여 다양한 강습효과를 얻기 위한 비언어적 커뮤니케이션은 적극 권장되고 활용되어야 함을 알 수 있었다.
후속연구
새롭게 변해만 가는 골프 강습 현장에서 참여자들의 적극적인 운동참여와 지도자 신뢰의 향상과 관련하여 다양한 강습효과를 얻기 위한 비언어적 커뮤니케이션은 적극 권장되고 활용되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 본 연구 결과와 과정에 바탕을 둔 제안점 으로는 스포츠 강습 현장에서 적용될 수 있는 비언어적 커뮤니케이션 측정도구의 개발을 들 수 있다.
