대학의 안경원 창업교육에 관한 고찰

목적: 안경광학과 교육과정에서 학생들에게 이루어지고 있는 창업과 관련한 교육의 정도를 분석하고자 하였다. 방법: 질적연구 방법을 이용하여 13명의 안경원 개설 안경사들을 대상으로 창업과정과 학교 교육과정에 대한 사례연구 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 또한 문헌연구로 학술지 발표 선행 연구와 40개 대학의 교육목표와 교육과정에 대한 연구 분석을 실시하였다. 결과: 2,3,4학제에 따른 대학의 교육목표가 안경사의 양성으로 대학별 차이가 없다. 교육과정의 교과목 또한 안경사 면허취득을 위한 안경사 국가시험 과목 위주로 편성되어 있다. 창업교육은 교육과정으로 이루어지고 있지 않다. 안경원 창업과 경영에 관련한 교육과정은 전체 교육과정에서 비율이 미미하다. 결론: 안경광학과를 지원하는 학생들의 장래의 목표는 자신의 안경원을 창업하는 것이다. 대학에서는 창업교육을 위한 교육과정을 개설하거나, 창업교육과 관련한 다른 학과의 교과목 이수를 권장하여 학교에서 졸업이전에 계획적이고 체계적인 준비로 창업과 관련한 것을 배우고 사회에 진출할 수 있도록 하는 것이 필요하다.
