연꽃이 사용되는 곳은? | 인도와 중국을 중심으로 하여 열대지방이나 아시아 동부를 비롯하여 한국, 중국 및 일본 등에서 널리 분포하고 있으며(Moon 등 2003; Lee 등 2015; Zhu 등 2016), 주로 연못에서 자연적으로 자라지만, 논밭에서 인위적으로 재배되기도 한다(Dahlgren & Rasmussen 1983; Borsch & Barthlott 1994; Lee 등 2006b; Lee 등 2008; Lee& Lee 2011). 일반적으로 연꽃은 관상용과 차의 재료로 이용되어 왔으며, 잎과 뿌리는 식품으로 사용되어져 왔다(Kim 등2005; Lee & Lee 2011). 선행연구(Yuk CS 1990; Lee 등 2006a; Lee 등 2006b; Lee 등 2008; Lee & Lee 2011)에서는 건조시킨 연잎은 맛은 쓰지만, 성질이 유하여 예로부터 출혈성 위궤양이나 위염․치질․출혈․설사․두통과 어지럼증․토혈․산후 어혈치료․야뇨증 및 해독작용 등에 민간 치료제로 이용되어 왔다고 보고하고 있다. |
