본 연구는 평생교육자의 핵심역량이 성인학습자의 지혜를 매개효과로 하여 생애능력에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 본 연구 대상은 경기도에 위치한 평생교육기관에서 평생교육 프로그램에 참여하고 있는 성인학습자를 대상으로 이어졌으며, 최종적으로 총 520부가 분석에 사용 되었으며, 분석방법으로는 SPSS 23.0과 AMOS 23.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 첫째, 평생교육자의 핵심역량과 성인학습자의 생애능력 및 성인학습자 지혜 간의 관계를 살펴 본 결과, 모든 변인 간 상관계수는 정적인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 평생교육자의 핵심역량과 지혜가 성인학습자의 생애 능력에 미치는 영향을 살펴 본 결과, 전체적으로는 66.8%의 영향력이 있었고, 성인학습자의 생애능력에 가장 많이 미치는 변인은 성인학습자 지혜의 창의적 문제해결 이었으며, 그 다음으로는 타인배려, 변화수용, 성별 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 평생교육자의 핵심역량이 성인학습자의 생애능력에 미치는 영향에서 성인학습자 지혜의 매개효과를 살펴 본 결과, 평생교육자의 핵심역량이 성인학습자의 생애능력에 미치는 영향은 유의하지 않았으나, 성인학습자 지혜를 통해서는 영향력이 검증되어 지혜가 완전매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과들을 종합하면 성인학습자의 생애능력에는 평생교육자의 핵심역량과 성인학습자 지혜가 중요한 변인임이 증명되었으며, 이러한 지혜는 성인학습자의 삶의 질을 높이고, 궁극적으로는 생애능력의 향상을 위한 변수임을 알 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the impact of lifelong educators' core competencies as a mediating effect on adult learners' ability to function. The subject of this study was aimed at adult learners participating in lifelong education programs at lifelong educational institutions located in Gyeonggi Province. and was finally used for a total of 520 additional analyses. The main findings of this study are as follows: first, regarding the correlation between the core competence of lifelong educators and the life ability of adult learners, core competence has a static association with wisdom. In addition, wisdom has a high static association with life expectancy. Second, the core competence and wisdom of lifelong educators were found to have a significant static impact on adult learners' life abilities, accounting for 66.8%. Specifically, the most significant predictors of life's ability were creative problem solving, consideration for others, and acceptance of change, which were lower factors of wisdom. Third, the impact of a lifetime educator's core competence on adult learners is not significant. It was found that core competence has an indirect influence on life capacity through the mediating effect of wisdom, and that wisdom has directly interfaced the relationship between core competence and life ability. Taken together, these results proved that the core competence and wisdom of a lifelong educator are important variables for adult learner's life abilities. Based on this, the core competence of lifelong educators being taught in the field of lifelong education should be enhanced, and the ability of adult learners to utilize the wisdom that has been developed through the experiences of adult learners, to improve their life skills.

H3. 평생교육자의 지혜는 평생교육자의 핵심역량과 성인학습자의 생애능력 사이에 유의한 매개역할을 할 것이다.

제안 방법

본 연구의 측정도구인 핵심역량의 기획, 실행, 관리, 지원 지혜의 문제해결, 타인배려, 변화수용, 삶의 의미, 생애능력의 의사소통, 문제해결, 자기주도학습의 신뢰도와 타당도 분석을 실시하였다. 확인적 요인분석 결과, χ², RMR, GFI, AGFI, IFI, CFI, RMSEA등의 적합도가 권장수준에 부합하고[Table 1] 모든 관측변수에 대한 표준화 요인부하량(λ)은 0.
연구변인들 간의 관련성을 알아보기 위하여 평생교육자 핵심역량의 하위요인인 기획역량, 실행역량, 관리역량, 지원역량, 생애능력의 하위요인인 의사소통, 문제해결, 자기주도학습, 지혜의 하위요인인 창의적 문제해결, 타인배려, 변화수용, 삶의 의미의 상관관계를 분석하였다.

대상 데이터

본 연구의 자료수집은 평생교육기관에서 평생교육 프로그램에 참여하고 있는 성인학습자 총 550명에게 방문 조사와 우편 배부를 병행하여 설문을 실시하였다. 설문 조사기간은 2018년 3월 2일부터 30일까지 이루어졌으며, 최종 회수된 설문지는 520부로 전체 설문지의 94.

데이터처리

0 통계프로그램을 사용하였다. 가설검증을 위한 분석방법으로는 신뢰성 분석을 통해 측정항목의 내적일관성을 검증하였고, 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석, 상관관계 분석 등을 실시하여 측정항목의 개념타당성, 수렴타 당성 및 판별타당성을 확인하였다. 그리고 각 변수의 영향관계를 살펴보기 위하여 위계적 회귀분석과 구조방정식 모형을 실시하여 가설을 검증하였다.

이론/모형

본 연구에서 성인학습자의 생애능력에 대한 측정도구는 이석재 외(2003)가 개발한 검사 도구를 사용하였다 [42]. 성인학습자의 생애능력에 관한 질문은 138문항이며, 하위요인으로는 의사소통 48문항, 문제해결 45문항, 자기주도적 학습 45문항으로 구성 되어있다.
지혜에 대한 측정도구는 조서목(2014)이 개발한 검사 도구를 사용하였다[9]. 지혜에 관한 질문은 35문항으로 구성되었으며, 하위요인으로 창의적 문제해결 14문항, 타인배려 10문항, 변화수용 7문항, 삶의 의미 4문항으로 구성 되어있다.
평생교육자의 핵심역량 측정도구는 정주영(2012)이개발한 검사 도구를 사용하였다[15]. 평생교육자의 핵심 역량에 관한 질문은 35문항으로 구성되었으며, 하위요 인으로 기획역량 10문항, 실행역량 10문항, 관리역량 10 문항, 지원역량 5문항으로 구성 되어있다.

성능/효과

둘째, 평생교육자의 핵심역량과 지혜가 성인학습자의 생애능력에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 성인학습자의 생애능력에 영향을 미치는 변인은 지혜의 하위요인 창의적 문제해결, 타인배려, 변화수용의 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 김은경(2005)과 한주리 외(2008)의 연구에서 나타난 결과는 평생교육자의 핵심역량에 따라서 성인 학습자의 생애능력에 영향을 미친다는 결과와 일맥상통 한다[43,33].
셋째, 평생교육자의 핵심역량과 성인학습자 생애능력의 관계에서 성인학습자의 지혜가 매개효과가 있는지 살펴본 결과, 평생교육자의 핵심역량은 성인학습자의 지혜에, 성인학습자의 지혜는 성인학습자 생애능력에 직접효과가 있었으며, 평생교육자의 핵심역량이 성인학습자 생애능력에 미치는 영향에서는 직접효과가 유의하지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 오효정 외(2012)의 연구와 김보연 (2017)이 지혜에 대한 매개효과를 긍정적으로 언급한 연구결과와 일맥상통한다[41-42].
첫째, 평생교육자의 핵심역량과 성인학습자의 생애능력 및 성인학습자의 지혜 간의 관계에서 평생교육자의 핵심역량인 기획역량, 실행역량, 관리역량, 지원역량은 성인학습자의 생애능력인 의사소통, 문제해결, 자기주도 학습과 성인학습자 지혜인 문제해결, 타인배려, 변화수용, 삶의 의미에 모두 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 또한 성인학습자의 생애능력인 의사소통, 문제해결, 자기주도 학습은 성인학습자의 지혜인 창의적 문제해결, 타인배려, 변화수용, 삶의 의미에 모두 유의한 상관관계가 있었다.

후속연구

본 연구의 한계점으로는 연구 대상자의 한계점과 표집방식의 한계점을 제시할 수 있다. 또한 후속연구에서는 평생교육자의 생애능력에 영향을 미치는 변수에 대해 다양한 접근이 필요할 것으로 보여진다.

Clayton과 Birren(1980)는 지혜를 인지적, 감정적, 반성적 조합으로 정의하였다. 그는 지혜란 사물의 이치나 선악을 분별하는 정신의 작용이며, 자아 통합과 성숙, 판단과 대인관계 기술, 인생에 대한 탁월한 이해와 같은 긍정적 자질을 포함하기 때문에 성공적 인간발달의 핵심이라고 주장한다[24]. 또한 사람들에게 광범위한 속성들을 제시하고 이것이 지혜로운 사람의 속성 혹은 창의성이나 지능의 속성에 얼마나 해당하는지를 평정하도록 한 연구들에서도 지혜와 지능, 창의성은 구분 되는 개념임을 확인하였다[25].
