다제내성균에 감염된 환자가 겪는 부작용은 무엇인가? | 하나 혹은 그 이상의 항생제에 내성을 보이는 다제내성균은 항생제 사용을 비효과적으로 만들고, 중증도 감염 환자의 치료에 심각한 영향을 주게 된다[4]. 즉, 다제내성균에 감염된 환자는 항생제 사용의 범위 제한, 재원기간의 증가, 질병치료 지연 및 사망률 증가와 같은 부작용을 경험한다. 질병관리본부(Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, KCDC)는 2010년 12월에 다제내성균과 관련한 감염병의 예방 및 관리에 대한 법률을 전면 개정하였고, 그 종류를 반코마이신 내성 황색포도알균(Vancomycin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus, VRSA), 반코마이신 내성 장알균(Vancomycin-Resistant Enterococcus, VRE), 메티실린 내성 황색포도알균(MethicillinResistant Staphylococcus aureus, MRSA), 카바페넴 내성 장내세균속균(Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae, CRE), 다제내성 녹농균 (Multidrug-Resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, MRPA) 및 다제내성 아시네토박터 바우마니균(Multidrug-Resistant Acinetobacter baumanii, MRAB)으로 규정하였다. |
