자가포식 과정의 메커니즘은 어떻게 되나? | 자가포식 과정은 세포 내 다양한 스트레스 환경(영양소 고갈, 성장인자 결핍, 소포체 스트레스)에 반응하여 유도되는 분해 시스템으로 비정상적으로 조절이 되면 신경퇴행성질환, 당뇨병, 심장질환과 같은 다양한 질환과 관련이 깊은 것으로 보고되고 있다[3,4]. 일반적으로 자가포식 과정은 주로 세포 내 노화된 단백질과 손상 또는 수명이 다한 기관을 제거하기 위하여 일련의 단계를 거쳐 autophagosome이 형성되면 라이소좀(lysosome)과의 융합(fusion)으로 최종 분해하여 체내 독성의 축적을 억제하게 된다[5]. 특히 자가포식 과정은 심장 보호에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있다[6]. |
