본 연구는 중학교 여학생의 배구수업 연계에 관한 사례연구로 여학생의 학교 내 연계와 학교 외 연계의 구체적인 사례를 제시하고, 의미를 분석하여 체육수업의 연계 방안에 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 자료 분석은 정규교육과정 배구수업부터 학교스포츠클럽, 동아리 활동, 교내리그, 지역연계 수업까지 분류하여 정리했다. 또한, 범주가 갖는 의미를 분석하고 해석하여 학교현장에서의 실천 가능성을 중심으로 재구성했다. 연구결과는 배구수업의 실천과정에서의 경험, 창의·융합 수업을 활용한 배구수업으로 구분했다. 논의에서는 학교 내의 연계 수업, 학교 외의 연계 수업으로 구분하여 분석했다. 제언으로는 교사의 실천 연구, 수업 연계 우수 사례연구, 학교체육-생활체육-전문체육으로의 연계 방안, 여학생 수업 참여와 연계에 관한 연구를 제시했다.
