본 연구의 목적은 치위생(학)과 학생이 임상실습 중 경험하는 무례함과 스트레스가 전문직 정체성에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것이다. 연구대상은 총 297명이며, 분석 결과, 일반적 특성 중 지원동기, 학과 만족도, 실습기관 만족도에서 전문직 정체성이 유의한 차이가 있었다. 무례함과 임상실습 스트레스는 정적 상관관계, 임상실습 스트레스와 전문직 정체성은 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 전문직 정체성 영향 요인으로는 학과 만족도와 임상실습 스트레스의 하위요인 중 환자와의 갈등이었으며, 설명력은 17.9%였다. 이에 전문직 정체성 향상을 위한 임상실습 스트레스 감소 및 대처 프로그램 개발과 적용이 필요하며, 학과 만족도를 높이기 위한 구체적인 방안이 필요하다.
