본 연구는 한국의료패널 2017년도 연간 통합 데이터를 활용하여 베이비붐세대 여성의 자살생각의 현황을 살펴보고, 건강행위와 건강상태가 자살생각에 미치는 영향 요인을 규명하기 위해 시행되었다. 한국의료패널 2017년도 연간 통합 데이터는 2017년 2월부터 6월까지 조사되었으며, SPSS WIN version 25.0을 이용하여 카이제곱(chi-square) 검정, t-test 및 다중로지스틱 회귀분석(multiple logistic regression)을 실시하였다. 연구대상은 자살생각 경험에 대한 질문에 응답한 베이비붐세대 여성 1,319명이었고 자살생각 경험은 3.1%로 나타났다. 베이비붐세대 여성의 자살생각은 배우자가 없는 경우가 그렇지 않은 경우보다 2.71배(CI=1.15-6.36, p=.047), 섭식문제가 있는 경우가 그렇지 않은 경우보다 4.44배(CI=2.05-9.61, p<.001), 활동제한이 있는 경우가 그렇지 않은 경우보다 4.63배(CI=1.63-13.16, p=.004), 우울한 경우가 그렇지 않은 경우보다 12.12배(CI=5.36-27.37, p<.001) 자살생각을 더 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 베이비붐세대 여성의 특성과 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 요인을 고려한 자살예방 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다.
