인공지능 교육 프로그램이 초등영재아동의 인공지능 태도와 소양 향상에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 교과에 대한 태도 향상이 해당 교과의 학업성취도에 영향을 미친다는 선행 연구 결과를 바탕으로 인공지능교육 프로그램이 초등영재아동의 인공지능 태도 변화를 야기하고 태도의 변화가 소양의 변화를 이끌어 낸다는 사실을 확인하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 초등영재아동을 대상으로 인공지능교육을 실시하고, 인공지능에 대한 태도의 변화와 인공지능 소양의 변화에 미치는 영향을 사전-사후 검사를 통하여 분석한 결과, 초등영재아동들의 인공지능 태도와 소양 모두가 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다. 또한 인공지능 태도의 변화가 인공지능 소양 변화에 통계적으로 유의미한 양적 영향을 미친다는 것을 회귀 분석을 통하여 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 인공지능 태도와 소양을 측정하기 위하여 자기 평가를 사용하고, 상대적으로 적은 수의 표본에 적용하였다는 한계를 갖고 있지만 생활 속에서 경험해본 인공지능 프로그램을 직접 만들어보는 활동으로도 인공지능 태도나 소양의 변화를 야기할 수 있다는 것도 확인할 수 있었다.
