자신의 존재적 가치와 의미를 찾지 못하고 정체성의 혼란을 갖기 쉬운 현대 대학생들은 삶의 의미를 찾고자 많은 노력을 한다. 그러나 그 노력이 무위로 돌아가는 경우, 우울증이나 무기력증을 경험하게 된다. 본 연구는 지속해서 자신의 의미 추구가 실패로 돌아간 졸업반 여대생이 다시 삶의 의미를 회복하고 우울과 무기력증에서 벗어나 삶의 주체자로서 진로를 결정해 나가는 과정을 단일사례연구로 분석했다. 분석 결과 '삶의 의미 상실과 혼란', '의미추구의 의지 발현', '삶의 의미 회복과 구체화' 등의 3가지 범주와 10개의 하위범주를 도출해 내었다. 향후 연구를 위해 다중사례연구나 현상학 연구를 통해 로고테라피가 대학생의 삶의 의미를 회복하는데 주는 의의를 풍성하게 하길 바란다.
