본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생을 대상으로 정신간호사에 대한 진로선택 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는 것이다. 연구설계는 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구의 대상은 D와 W 광역시 소재 5개 대학에 재학 중인 4학년 간호대학생 261명이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 이용하여 서술통계, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression을 실시하였다. 회귀분석 결과, 연령 (𝛽=.13, p=.048), 정신간호학실습 만족도 (𝛽=.16, p=.035)는 대상자의 정신간호사에 대한 진로선택 의도에 대해 유의한 영향요인으로 나타났으며, 10.3%의 설명력을 보였다. 따라서 정신간호학 실습환경 개선과 실습지도 자의 역량 강화를 통해 간호대학생의 정신간호사에 대한 진로선택을 지지할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 정신간호사에 대한 진로선택에 영향을 미치는 다양한 변수를 파악할 수 있는 추후 연구가 필요하다.
