This study was conducted to prepare basic data for the prevention of depression in nursing students by analyzing the effects of stress perception and stress coping on depression in nursing students by usual group and sub-clinical depression group. For the study, data were collected from students majoring in nursing at one university located in B city, and data were analyzed by Anova and Regression analysis. As a result of the study, the factors influencing depression in the daily depressed group were emotional expression (β=.244), positive stress perception (β=-.233), self-criticism (β=.227), and negative stress perception (β=.210). The explanatory power of these four factors was 27%, and the factor influencing depression in the subclinical depressed group was coping with self-blame, with an explanatory power of 33.2%. Therefore, in order to effectively prevent depression in nursing students, it is necessary to check their depression and approach it according to the level.

자료 수집은 2021년 5월 10일부터 17일, 2022년 5월 9일부터 16일까지 이루어졌으며, 수집된 자료 중 응답이 불성실하거나 미흡한 자료 2부를 제외한 152개의 자료를 최종 분석에 활용하였다.

데이터처리

수집자료의 분석은 SPSS program을 이용하였으며 다음의 방법으로 분석하였다. 대상자 일반적 특성, 주요변수의 기술통계는 실수와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차를 산출하였다. 일반특성에 따른 주요 변수의 차이는 t-test, ANOVA분석을 하였고, 우울, 스트레스 지각, 스트레스 대처 간 상관관계는 pearson correlation coefficient를 산출하였다.

간호대학생의 스트레스 지각 및 스트레스 대처가 우울에 미치는 영향을 일상우울군과 준임상우울군으로 비교하여 살펴본 결과, 일상우울군에서 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인은 부정적 스트레스 지각과 긍정적 스트레스 지각, 정서표출 및 자기 비난 대처였으며 이들 요인의 우울 설명력은 27%였고, 우울에 대한 변수들 간 상대적 영향력을 평가하면 정서 표출(β=.244), 긍정적 스트레스 지각(β=-.233), 자기 비난(β=.227), 부정적 스트레스 지각(β=.210)의 순으로 나타났다
스트레스 지각, 스트레스 대처 및 우울 간 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 일상우울군과 준임상우울군 두 군 모두에서 스트레스에 대한 긍정적 혹은 부정적 지각 모두 우울과 유의한 상관을 보인 반면, 스트레스 대처는 차이를 보였다. 구체적으로 일상우울군은 적극적 대응 등 문제해결 대처가 적을수록, 정서 표출, 망각, 정서지원 추구 등 정서중심 대처가 많을수록 우울이 높은 것으로 나타나 문제해결 대처와 다양한 정서중심의 대처가 모두 우울과 유의한 상관 관계를 보인 반면, 준임상우울군은 양보(동화), 자기비 난 등 일부 정서 중심 대처방식과만 유의한 상관을 보였고 문제해결중심 대처와는 유의한 상관을 보이지 않았다.
