[국내논문] 대학생의 패션 유능감이 사회불안에 미치는 영향: 대인관계능력과 외모 불안의 매개효과를 중심으로

본 연구는 대학생의 패션 유능감이 사회불안에 미치는 영향을 대인관계능력과 외모 불안의 매개효과를 중심으로 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 온라인 커뮤니티를 통해 235명의 대학생에 설문조사를 실시하였으며, SPSS 26.0을 사용하여 데이터를 분석하였다. 요인분석 결과 패션 유능감의 하위 요인으로는 패션 관여도, 패션 혁신성, 패션 코디 자신감이 나타났으며, 회귀분석을 통하여 매개모형을 분석한 결과, 패션 관여도는 대인관계능력을 통해 사회불안을 간접적으로 낮추는 반면, 외모 불안의 매개효과는 없었다. 패션 혁신성은 외모 불안을 통해 사회불안에 간접 영향을 미치지만 대인관계능력의 매개효과는 없었다. 패션 코디 자신감은 대인관계능력과 외모 불안 모두를 통해 사회불안에 간접적 영향 미쳤으며, 직접 효과도 유의하였다. 이 연구는 패션 유능감이 사회불안에 대해 양면적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 확인하였으며, 대학생들의 사회불안 해결을 위해 패션 테라피 프로그램을 통해 패션 코디 자신감을 증진시키는 것이 유용할 수 있음을 제안하였다. 그러나 이러한 프로그램에서 패션 혁신성의 과도한 추구는 외모 불안을 증가시킬 수 있으므로 지양하여야 하며, 자신의 외모에 대한 자신감 증진에 초점을 맞춰야 할 것이다.
