[국내논문] 고교학점제 도입에 따른 고등학교 수학과 교육과정 실행 모니터링 연구

고교학점제는 미래 교육 환경 변화에 대비하고 학생의 적성과 진로에 따른 맞춤형 교육을 제공하기 위해 도입되었다. 이러한 도입 취지에 따라 학생 중심 교육과정 편성·운영의 적정성과 유용성을 검토하기 위해 필요한 정보를 수집하고 분석하는 일이 매우 중요하다. 이는 수학 교과목에도 해당된다. 이에 전북 일반계 고등학교 89개교의 확률과 통계, 미적분, 기하 교과의 과목별 교육과정 시수 편성과 고교학점제 운영 현황을 조사하였다. 또한 89개교의 고교학점제 운영 담당 교사와의 면담을 통해 학교 현장의 고교학점제 운영 실태와 교육과정 운용 과정에서 겪는 어려움을 파악하였다. 그 결과, 첫째. 고교학점제 시행에서 학교 규모에 따른 차별 없이 수학과 선택과목에 대한 학생 선택권이 보장되어야 한다. 둘째, 수학과 교육과정을 편성할 때 수능과 입시에 맞춘 지나친 교과목 편성은 지양하고 학생들의 진로나 적성에 따른 교육과정을 편성·운영해야 한다. 셋째, 고교학점제에 대한 학생, 교사, 학교의 인식 변화가 필요하다.
