RésuméL'avènement de l'arthroscopie de l'épaule, ainsi que la meilleure compréhension de l'anatomie et de la biomécanique de l'épaule ont permis l'identification de lésions auparavant méconnues impliquant le labrum supérieur et l'insertion bicipitale. L'anamnèse parfois évocatrice, un examen physique bien conduit avec un testing complet, l'imagerie moderne (arthro-IRM, arthro-TDM) donnent souvent des arguments incomplets pour le diagnostic des SLAP lésions (superior labrum anterior to posterior). Les lésions associées sont fréquentes. Le diagnostic définitif et la caractérisation du type de lésion ne seront faits que lors de l'exploration arthroscopique. Le traitement de ces lésions dépend du type de SLAP. Généralement, l'abstention sera préconisée dans le type I, les lésions de type III seront simplement débridées, tandis que les types II et la plupart des types IV seront réparés. Le but de cet article est de passer en revue l'anatomie, la classification, le diagnostic et les recommandations actuelles des traitements des SLAP lésions.
