The subject of this study consist of primary school children, analyzing the relationship of daily physical activity, body composition, cardiovascular risk factors in ordinary lives. The subjects are 101 grades 5 and 6 students in S primary school in Seoul. The result of the study is as follows: 1. when we looked at the correlation of daily physical activity and body composition, for male children showed negative correlation of BFM(r=-.303, p<.05), %BF(r=-.351, p<.01) WHR(r=-.393, p<.01) while the female children had no correlation of body composition and daily physical activity. 2. when I analyzed the correlation between daily physical activity, blood pressure, average artery pressure, heart rate and MVO2, male children had heart rate of (r=-.294, p<.05) and negative correlation and in case of female children, the average artery pressure was (r=.361, p<.05) which showed positive correlation. However, looking at the correlation between daily physical b-aPWV, and ABI, both the female and male children showed no correlation between daily physical b-aPWV and ABI. To sum up the results gathered from above, increase in daily physical of primary school children will prevent obesity and have positive effect on the improvement of cardiovascular function.
