The purpose of this paper is to explore aged women"s perceptions and their lived-experiences, which is their meaning of life experiences and their wishes. To achieve this goal, we conducted literature review and narrative interviews on 10 female old people, aged 62-88. The narrative interview results were transcribed and analyzed by the research team for two months using the respondents" terms based on the grand theory. Female gender specific experiences were categorized and identified as the construction of gendered life herstory. The research results are as follows. Life cycles of senior women through the narrative interview are essentially categorized as three phrases; youngster hood, marriage hood, and senior hood. At the youngster hood, the resentment and regret on the lack of schooling and running into earning their family bread were very typical to these ages. At the marriage hood, women were forced to live their lives as “others” meeting family duties and responsibilities, obedient to their husband"s absolute power under the patriarchy system. Senior hood is the time of perspective transformation, due to the changes in their physical health conditions, the weakness of labor divisions by genders, and the awareness on the limited life. Being free from the sex-stereo types, the seniors become active and positive, but also lonely as they prepare for the end of their lives. In this study, senior women"s gender inequality perceptions strongly appeared throughout their youngster hood, marriage hood, and senior hood; while, in their senior level, compared to their perceptions on youngster hood and marriage hood, women were free from their gender ideology and appeared more active and self-initiated.
