The automatic transmission according to claim 1, wherein the sixth engagement mechanism is a one-way clutch or a two-way clutch. 4. The automatic transmission according to claim 1, wherein the second engagement mechanism is an intermeshing mechanism. 5. The automatic transmission according to claim 1, wherein the fourth to the sixth engagement mechanisms are disposed closer to a driving source for driving the input shaft to rotate than to the parallel gear, andthe output member is an output shaft disposed coaxially with the input shaft.
