The secondary battery as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plate portion, the gasket plate and the terminal groove each have a second side different from the first side, and the second side of the plate portion and the second side of the gasket plate are spaced apart from the second side of the terminal groove. 3. The secondary battery as claimed in claim 2, wherein a distance between the second side of the plate portion and the second side of the terminal groove is about the same as a distance between the second side of the gasket plate and the second side of the terminal groove. 4. The secondary battery as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plate portion and the gasket plate each have a rounded shape and an outer circumference defining the at least one side; wherein the terminal groove has a rounded shape and an inner circumference defining the at least one side; and wherein the outer circumference of the plate portion and the outer circumference of the gasket plate are spaced apart from the inner circumference of the terminal groove. 5. The secondary battery as claimed in claim 3, wherein a distance between the outer circumference of the plate portion and the inner circumference of the terminal groove is about the same as a distance between the outer circumference of the gasket plate and the inner circumference of the terminal groove. 6. The secondary battery as claimed in claim 1, further comprising an insulation plate under the cap plate. 7. The secondary battery as claimed in claim 6, wherein the gasket and the insulation plate include the same insulating material.
