The water-soluble vitamin E mixtures contain mixtures of dimers and monomers of the vitamin E derivative. Provided are products containing the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixtures, including capsules, soft gel compositions, pre-gel compositions, emulsions and powders.

A composition, comprising: a water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture present in an amount from 1% to 99%, inclusive, by weight, of the concentrate, wherein the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture comprises at least 13 wt% water-soluble vitamin E derivative dimer and up to 87% water-soluble vitamin E derivative monomer, wherein the vitamin E derivative is a polyalkylene glycol derivative of vitamin E;a non-polar ingredient that is or contains one or a plurality of non-polar compounds, other than the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture;a sugar fatty acid ester(s); anda binder. 2. The composition of claim 1 that is a powder, wherein: the total amount of sugar fatty acid ester and binder is between 5% and 60%, by weight, of the powder;the mixture of sugar fatty acid ester and binder contains at least 5% sugar fatty acid ester; andthe non-polar ingredient, other than the PEG derivative of vitamin E, is present in an amount of from between 10% and 60%, by weight, of the powder. 3. The composition of claim 1, wherein the sugar fatty acid ester is a sucrose fatty acid ester (SFAE) or mixtures of SFAEs. 4. The composition of claim 1, wherein the binder is selected from acacia, dextrin, starch, povidone, carboxymethylcellulose, guar gum, glucose, collagen, fish collagen, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, methylcellulose, polymethacrylates, maltodextrin, hydroxyethyl cellulose, whey, disaccharides, sucrose, lactose, or polysaccharides and derivatives thereof. 5. The composition of claim 1 that further comprises a polar solvent, whereby the composition is an emulsion. 6. The composition of claim 1 that contains no water and is a water-soluble dry powder. 7. The powder of claim 6, wherein the amount of non-polar ingredient is greater than 30%, 40% or 50%, by weight, of the powder. 8. The composition of claim 1, wherein the vitamin E derivative mixture is a PEG-derivative of vitamin E that is a tocopheryl polyethylene glycol succinate (TPGS) mixture, wherein the mixture contains at least 29%, by weight, TPGS dimer. 9. The composition of claim 8, wherein: the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture contains up to 29%-69%, inclusive, of dimer; and/or contains less than 70% of the vitamin E derivative monomer. 10. The composition of claim 8, wherein the TPGS is TPGS-1000. 11. The composition of claim 10, wherein: the monomer is between about 25% and 60%, by weight, of the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture; oris at least about 25%, up to and including 69%, by weight, of the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture. 12. The composition of claim 1, wherein: the dimer is about 20% or 70%, by weight, of the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture; oris at least about 25%, up to 75%, by weight, of the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture. 13. The composition of claim 10, wherein the monomer is between about 35% and 65%, inclusive, by weight, of the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture and the dimer is between about 25% and 65%, by weight, of the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture, or the dimer is between about 29% and 61% or 62%, by weight, of the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture, and the monomer and dimer together are at least 70%, by weight, of the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture in the composition. 14. The composition of claim 11, wherein the non-polar ingredient is or comprises non-polar compounds or compounds selected from among polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), coenzyme Q, phytosterols, resveratrol, carotenoids, micronutrients, PQQ, Boswellia serrata extract, astaxanthin, a cannabinoid, alpha lipoic acid and oil-soluble vitamins. 15. The composition of claim 11, wherein the non-polar ingredient is present in an amount from 1% to 75%, by weight, of the composition. 16. The composition of claim 5, wherein the vitamin E derivative mixture is a PEG-derivative of vitamin E that is a tocopheryl polyethylene glycol succinate (TPGS) mixture, wherein the mixture contains at least 29%, by weight, TPGS dimer. 17. The composition of claim 5, wherein the polar solvent is water or an edible alcohol or mixtures thereof. 18. The composition of claim 10, wherein the composition further comprises a co-surfactant present in an amount sufficient to stabilize the composition compared to the absence of a co-surfactant. 19. The composition of claim 18, wherein the co-surfactant is selected from among a phospholipid, a sucrose fatty acid ester, a polysorbate and a polysorbate analog. 20. The composition of claim 1, further comprising an emulsion stabilizer selected from among one or more of a blend of xanthan gum, guar gum and sodium alginate; modified gum acacia; and ester gum. 21. The composition of claim 1, further comprising a pH adjuster present in an amount sufficient to adjust the pH of the composition to between 2.0 and 4.0. 22. The composition of claim 5, wherein the amount of the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture is from 16% to 30%, inclusive, by weight, of the composition. 23. The composition of claim 1 that is a water-soluble powder, wherein: the total amount of sugar fatty acid ester and binder is between 5% and 60%, by weight, of the powder;the mixture of sugar fatty acid ester and binder contains at least 5% sugar fatty acid ester;the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture is present in an amount of from between 2%-15%, by weight, of the powder; andthe non-polar ingredient that is or contains one or a plurality of non-polar compounds, other than the PEG-derivative of vitamin E, is present in an amount of from between 5% and 55%, by weight, of the powder. 24. The composition of claim 1, wherein the binder is a dextrin, fish collagen, lactose, sucrose, starch, polyethylene glycol, hypromellose, methylcellulose, macrocrystalline cellulose, sorbitol or pectin. 25. The composition of claim 1 that is a powder, wherein: the sugar fatty acid ester is sucrose fatty acid ester and the total amount of the mixture of sucrose fatty acid ester and binder is between 7% and 20%, inclusive, by weight, of the powder;the water-soluble vitamin E derivative is D-α-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol succinate (TPGS), in an amount between 1% and 3%, inclusive, by weight, of the concentrate;the non-polar ingredient is present in an amount between 12% and 39%, inclusive, by weight, of the concentrate, and is selected from among algal oil and MCT oil; andthe composition further comprises: a stabilizer selected from among potassium bicarbonate, vitamin C, and mixtures thereof;an emulsion stabilizer that is selected from one or more of a blend of xanthan gum, guar gum and sodium alginate; whey protein; a green tea extract containing epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) and epicatechin gallate (ECG); anda co-emulsifier that is saponin. 26. The composition of claim 10 that is an emulsion, comprising: a) a mixture of sugar fatty acid ester and a binder, wherein: the total amount of sugar fatty acid ester and binder, is between 5% and 40%, by weight, of the emulsion; andthe mixture of sugar fatty acid ester and binder contains at least 1% sugar fatty acid ester;b) a polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivative of vitamin E present in an amount of from between 1% and 40%, by weight, of the emulsion;c) a non-polar ingredient that is or contains non-polar compounds, other than the PEG-derivative of vitamin E, present in an amount of from between 5% and 30%, by weight, of the emulsion; andd) a polar solvent. 27. A method of making a composition of claim 1, comprising: a) mixing and heating the initial ingredients in a vessel, wherein the initial ingredients comprise the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture and the non-polar ingredient other than the PEG derivative of vitamin E; b) adding one or more additional ingredients to the vessel, wherein the one or more additional ingredients comprise a mixture of sugar fatty acid ester and binder, and optionally one or more additional ingredients selected from the group consisting of a polar solvent, stabilizer, emulsion stabilizer, pH adjuster, co-emulsifier, and combinations thereof;c) homogenizing the ingredients; andd) cooling the mixed ingredients, whereby the mixed ingredients become waxy in consistency, to thereby generate an emulsion. 28. The method of claim 27, further comprising e) removing the polar solvent from the emulsion by drying, to thereby generate a powder. 29. The composition of claim 8, wherein the water-soluble vitamin E derivative mixture contains 29% to 69%, inclusive, of water-soluble vitamin derivative dimer. 30. The composition of claim 29 that is a powder. 31. The composition of claim 29 that contains 7% sucrose fatty acid ester.
