초록
본 연구는 한의학에서 가장 다용하는 치료요법 중의 하나인 간접구요법이 임상적으로는 효능 및 효과가 인정됨에도 불구하고 이에 대한 과학적근거가 거의 전무함으로 건강인을 대상으로 한 1차년도 이어서 2차 년도 엔 무작위, 단일 맹검, 대조군 비교 임상시험을 통해서 간접구 치료법의 항피로 효과의 과학적 검증과 항산화스트레스 관련된 기전을 밝혀졌음.

Indirect moxibustion is one of main therapeutics in traditional Korean Medicine. Moxibustion is believed to be multi-effectiveand has been applied to patients for long clinical experience. However, insufficient evidence is a main issue to restrict to go to the world. This project aimed to produce basis of scientific data for indirect moxibustion in aspects of clinical effects and its mechanisms in normal and fatigued people.
II.Contents of research
A. 1st year:A random,single blind and control clinical study using healthy volunteers
1) Measuring the SF36 score for QOL change
2) Measuring immune-related change in peripheral bloodlymphocytessubpopulation
3) Measuring peripheral blood 42 cytokines (ENA-78,GCSF,GM-CSF,GRO,GRO-α,I-309,IL-1 α , I L - 1 β , I L - 2 , I L - 3 , I L - 4 , I L - 5 , I L - 6 , I L - 1 0 , I L - 1 2 , p 4 0 , p 7 0 , I L - 1 3 , I L - 1 5 , I F N - α,MCP-1,MCP-2,MCP-3,MCSF,MDC,MIG,MIP-15,RANTES,SCF,SDF-1,TARC,TGF-β1,TNF- α,TNF-β,EDF,IGF-I,angigenin,oncostatin M,thrombopoietin,VEGF,PDGFBB,andleptin)
4) Safety-related data (CBC, LFT, U/A).
5) Serum oxidative stress/anti-oxidant biomakers (MDA, SOD, GSH,ROS,TEAC)
B. 2nd year: A random,single blind and control clinical study for chronic fatigue patients
1) Measuring the anti-fatigue effect using Chalder fatigue scale
2) Measuring the SF36 score for QOL change
3) Measuring immune-related change in peripheral blood lymphocytes subpopulation
4) Measuring peripheral blood 42 cytokines (ENA-78,GCSF,GM-CSF,GRO,GRO-α,I-309,IL-1 α , I L - 1 β , I L - 2 , I L - 3 , I L - 4 , I L - 5 , I L - 6 , I L - 1 0 , I L - 1 2 , p 4 0 , p 7 0 , I L - 1 3 , I L - 1 5 , I F N - α,MCP-1,MCP-2,MCP-3,MCSF,MDC,MIG,MIP-15,RANTES,SCF,SDF-1,TARC,TGF-β1,TNF- α,TNF-β,EDF,IGF I, angigenin, oncostatin M, thrombopoietin, VEGF, PDGF-BB, and leptin)
5) Safety-related data (CBC, LFT, U/A).
6) Serum oxidative stress/anti-oxidant biomakers (MDA, SOD, GSH,ROS,TEAC)
III.Results
1) The result produced a scientifically basic data (safety-related data such as CBC, LFT, U/A)
2) Immunological data after indirectmoxibustion (CV4,CV8) were produced (peripheral blood lymphocytes subpopulation and peripheral blood 42 cytokines)
3) Indirect moxibustion (CV4,CV8) showed anti-fatigue effect chronic fatigue patients.
4) Indirect moxibustion (CV4,CV8) showed positive effect on serum ROS,MDA and TAC levels, and also significantly improved the serum catalase activity.
IV.Application of the results
1) As a scientifically essential data, this result will be used for moxibustion-derived therapeutic development in future.
2) Provide an important scientific evidence on traditional indirect moxibustion.
3) These research using systemic, immunological and antioxidative method can applicate as mechanical research model for other traditional therapies in future.
