개발내용 및 결과 ◦ 교육훈련용 노후 장비 및 시설 개선 - 교육장비 및 시설 점검, 성능 개선 및 교체 ◦ 효율적인 정규교육과정으로의 개선 - 연구본부와의 협조를 통한 교육과정 신설 - 현 교육과정의 지속 및 불요불급 모듈의 선택과 집중 ◦ 중소기업 및 연구원 협력기업 지원 교육과정 개설 - 기업대상 교육수요조사 및 찾아가는 교육서비스 제공 ◦ 지질자원분야 대학과의 교육협력 프로그램 개발 - 이론 과정과 KIGAM 우수연구시설을 활용한 실습과정 연계 - 각 대학들이 공동으로 활용할 수 있는 맞춤형 교육과정의 개설 ◦ 2015년 교육실적 - 지질자원 인재육성관련 교육은 35개 교육과정의 실시 - 총 1,920명(국외: 607명, 국내: 1,313명)의 전문 인력 양성 - Creative Geo Educamp 1,660명 교육참여 - 중소기업지원교육 4과정 및 Earth school 7과정 개설 ◦ 2015년 지질자원분야 전문가 양성을 통한 인적 네트워크 구축 - 정규 및 맞춤형 과정 수강생 국외 22개국 43개 기관

Ⅳ. Research results Research result for the first year in 2015 is as below. Is-Geo provides the various educational facilities and pleasant environments to bear the best fruits under the optimum condition. In regards to facilities, this year, we have changed all computers, some audio-visual equipment etc. 1) Geoscience and Mineral resources training course’s accomplishment - Fostering for professionals in the area of Geoscience and Mineral resources - Constructing networks through research interchange - Developing competence of KIGAM researchers and providing feedback opportunities - 4 Regular Training Courses and 18 modules, 16 Customized Training Courses and 16 modules, 3 international symposiums, 7 Earth Schools, 4 educational supports for small business 2) Geo Future Course and accomplishment - Creative Geo Educamp and Earth School - Performing education donation in Creative Geo Educamp, Developing and operating in-door and field programs for students as primary, middle, and high school teachers’ job training - Providing excellent infrastructure, updated technology, and information - 7 Courses and 49 times 1,660 participants (Students: 1,512, Teachers: 148) 3) Degree Course - UST 8 majors - 4 majors: Mineral and Groundwater Resources, Geophysical Exploration, Petroleum Resources Technology, Resources Recycling - 4 collaborative majors with other institutes: Nanomaterials Science and Engineering, Accelerator and nuclear fusion physical engineering, Isotope Geochemistry, Radiochemistry and Nuclear Nonproliferation - UST Faculty status: 76(full time:38, adjunct:37, part-time and visiting:1) - UST students status: 43(10 foreign students, 32 domestic students) - Partnership Program: students status: 3(2015), 2(2014), 3(2013), 5(2012)
