The present research was carried out in order to investigate the occurrence of problematic weed species in small area crops(24 crops). This studies were investigated from 2013 to 2015. The present research was carried out in order to investigate the occurrence of problematic weed species in small area crops(24 crops). This studies were investigated from 2013 to 2015. The identified weeds were distributed in 37 families and 104 species in cultivated Ligularia fischeri fields, 33 families and 98 species in Coix lacryma-jobi var. mayuen fields, 37 families and 153 species in the Korean mulberry fields, 47 families and 207 species in Codonopsis lanceolata fields, 30 families and 91 species in Lycium chinense fields, 37 families and 105 species in Angelica gigas fields in National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, RDA.
And the identified weeds were distributed in 11 families and 44 species in Dioscorea oppositifolia fields, 21 families and 41 species in Setaria italica fields, 35 families and 99 species in Cnidium officinale fields, 24 families and 58 species in Allium tuberosum fields, 37 families and 91 species in Astragalus propinquus fields, 21 families and 48 species in Sorghum bicolor fields in Kyungbook National University. Also, the identified weeds were distributed in 21 families and 55 species in black berry fields, 32 families and 107 species in blueberry fields, 26 families and 66 species in bellflower fields, 21 families and 49 species in snake's-beard fields, 36 families and 100 species in schisandra chinensis fields, 35 families and 105 species in peony fields in the Bio Crop Protection Institute.
Quantity analysis of weed control and treatment was carry out National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, RDA, Kyungbook National University and Bio Crop Protection Institute. As a result, small area crop production's damage was severe in uncontrolled plots to cannot harvest small area crops.
The current investigation could be useful for estimation of future weeds occurrence, weed flora dynamics and establishment of weed control methods in small area crop's fields in Korea.
