추가로, 우리 국민의 식품 섭취로 인한 과불화화합물의 노출량을 산정하고 위해도록 파악하기 위하여 국내 식품 중 과불화화합물 농도 결과를 바탕으로 노출량을 산정한 결과 Total PFCs의 경우 0.9 ng/kgㆍday(PFOS: ng/kgㆍday, PFOA: 4.0 ng/kgㆍday)로 나타났으며, 이를 유럽식품안전(UFSA)의 TDI (PFOS 15 ng/kgㆍday, PFOA 1500 ng/kgㆍday)와 비교한 결과 1.67% 이하로 매우 낮은 수치를 보였으며, 이로써 국내 식품 섭취로 인한 과불화화합물의 노출은 건강상 위해를 주지 않는 수준으로 평가되었다.

The objectives of this study are to evaluate PFCs exposure that are known to have a toxicity and accumulate in human body, in Korean and various domestic food samples. To investigate PFCs concentration in Korean, the total 299 of human serum samples were collected in Busan city. Also, the basic information of donors about dietary habits and life style etc were surveyed to asses their relationship with PFCs exposure.
As a result of PFCs monitoring in human serum samples, PFOA, PFUdA,PFOS, PFDA, PFHxA, and PFNA etc were detected and the PFCs in woman serum were higher than those in man, which was consistent result of previous studies. However, there was no significant difference of PFCs concentration with the characteristic of region (ex; residential, industral area etc). The weak correlations were observed between PFCs levels and the usage of detergent, the Gore-Tex clothes and teflon coated cooking utensils but mostly, no significant correlation was observed.
The analytical method for PFCs was developed according to the types of food samples. The 54 different domestic foods were investigated and the PFCs in food samples ranged from ND to 16.0 ng/g, PFOS was dominant in fish samples and PFOA was detected often in milk/yogurt samples. The PFCs levels in domestic food samples were similar or lower than other available previous foreign studies.
The exposure dose of PFCs by food consumption was calculated with analyzed PFCs levels in domestic food samples in this study. The calculated daily Total PFCs dose to Korean adult was 0.9 ㎍/㎏ bw/day which was pretty low compared to TDI (PFOS 15ng/kg bw/day, PFOA 1500ng/kg bw day) value suggested by EFSA. This result indicate that the current PFCs exposure to Korean people by domestic food consumption is safe.
