○ Watermelon staking cultivation increased production 1.5 times compared to crawl cultivation, and labor cost was reduced by 30%. The wider the planting spacing, the bigger the fruit. Among the small watermelon varieties, ‘Honeyball’, and ‘Ssijagunsubak’ were thin and sweet.

○ With the total density of micropests in the greenhouse completely lowered before planting, the manned traps were installed 25 cm above ground and 10 m apart and operated for about 12 hours at night. The result was a 75% reduction in chemical control and a 70% reduction in virus infection rates.

In Gechang region, all Calcium Chloride treatments had a significantly higer rate of flower thinning compare with control. Effect of flower thinning on ‘Honhro’ apple were as increases concentration and time of application in Calcium Chloride treatment. The treatment with Calcium Chloride had not affect fruit quality.

○ We built a prototype of the Orchard Site Information Web Platform that can be accessed by using the general Internet network, and applied Respinsive Web Technology to be used with various devices such as tablets and moboles phones. In addition, 8-Item menus and data cells are prepared to collect orchard data located in the region. Using the construction platform. we tried to chech the possibility of connection with the control unit installed in the existing orchard, and confirmed the possibility of interlocking around the fan which can secure related research data that can be upgraded to the level of precision control as well as simple automatic control. The testbed was established in the NIHHS and research project to discover promising control technologies that can creat synergy with the platform. Among them, unmanned operation to overcome the sunlight blocking network and rural aging and labor shortages to alleviate the high temprature weather damage caused by the recent abnormal weather. ○ Rose strains '09SR5-62' and '15R2-4' were cultivated at farms in Jeonju, Jeonbuk, and Jincheon, Chungbuk, respectively. The '09SR5-62' is a red spray strain with a unique shape. The '15R2-4' is a Salmon pink color and a large standard strain. Both strains received excellent evaluations, and among them, '09SR5-62' had very high consumer preferences as a result of the field evaluation meeting.

This contributed to the expanded supply of the new varieties and enhanced the agriculture R&D efficiency. Secondly, we established a distribution channel strategy considering the characteristics of horticultural products and the actual conditions of distribution to deduct the direction of field marketing support. Thirdly, We suggested improvement measures for new variety supply through investigating the satisfaction of new variety cultivator. Finally, by analyzing farm income we found best practices and some improvement plan for farms.
