O This study was conducted for one year (12 months). It included a comparative survey of wearable digital health devices, guidelines for clinical application of wearable digital health devices, development of digital apps for heart failure treatment and device utilization. A pilot intervention study was conducted for validation.
O After selecting the device (InBody Band) for the study through a comparative survey of existing wearable digital health devices, the possibility of monitoring heart failure patients was evaluated through exploratory research, and measurement accuracy and ease of collection were confirmed for heart rate, arrhythmia, and activity. By analyzing the collected lifelog data, it was confirmed that some data were over-measured or data were not collected. It was confirmed that the patient did not wear or misuse the digital device correctly. Based on the experience in the exploratory study, guidelines on how to use digital devices that can prevent patients from wearing or malfunctioning digital devices were compiled, and patient's ability to use digital devices improved through education during hospitalization and then followed up. We developed a patient education protocol for digital devices that confirms the decrease during the observation period and maintains the patient's ability to use digital devices and educate patients in the pilot intervention study.
O Other studies used only fragmentary biosignal But in this study, lifelog data of gait, sleep, stress, heart rate, exercise monitoring, and cumulative body composition were obtained using digital devices, heart failure symptoms of patients, and medication history. The app also provides information on the patient's disease and medications to improve understanding of the patient's disease and treatment compliance. In addition, based on the information on improvement collected through the digital app, it provides a customized rehabilitation program to the patient.
O Interventional clinical studies are currently undergo, and the digital health technology provided to heart failure patients improves the quality of life through the patient's awareness of changes in the body, increases activity, improves compliance with effective medications, and reduces the aggravation of heart failure or readmission to hospital.
