이에 쇼팽 연습곡 중 2곡(Op.10, No.4와 Op.10.

Students who study to play the piano have various kinds of their own characters and musical talents. There is a striking contrast between motivation to learn how to play the piano and goal to achieve it, as a professional player or as only a hobbies. Although each student has different circumstances, there is one aim to improve their skill to perform the piano well. It is the technique, which is the most important skill in performing the piano. Technique is a kind of methods to create musical art. That means possession of ability to perform it. In other words, it is an ability or skill to hold and manage everything such as the possession of all kind of methods which is needed for creating intended art effects by a musician, delicate operation by pedal, mechanism of fingers and arms, action of the mind, flexibility of performer, a condition of fingers and genius of brain. The guidance of technique is not only lead to develop student's intellectual sense not to study just technical training but also improve an ability to comprehend music collectively. In this thesis, I research the process of historical change on technique. By more effectively approaching, I intend to be very useful for piano lesson. On the basis of functions to pursue music, factors, the development of an instrument, piano, interest in given specific periods and philosophical background, technique has continuously developed in a new notion as well. Especially, tendencious which accords with a player and a composer and technicalism have taken an interest in technical application and development of Etude as well. Among them, F. Chopin, (1810-1849) left behind marvelous pieces of works on various fields of music with an piano as an instrument of expression of emotion and developed his abilities to the full. As a musician, he stood without a peer of the age. Among his works, etude has not only technical skills but also artistic approachment like melody, harmony, rhythm and expressions of feelings. Therefore, etude itself is an excellent musical work. I research Chopin Etude focusing on Op.l0, No. 4 and Op. 10. No. 8 and study the technique of Chopin's piano. To overcome all technical difficulties, I present the practice methods of Alfred Cortot (1877-1962) as a master on Chopin music and well-known educator. I intend to understand the specificity of Chopin piano music and consider aesthetic parts. On the ground of it, this etude get out of some faults in technique when playing the piano and has a desirable effects musically and technically.
