This study aims to enhance the educational rehabilitation and welfare for the disabled children as identifying problems in education for the disabled children's parents and suggesting how to improve the education by examining the nature and functions of education for parents. As the research method, literature reviews investigating previous reports and relevant domestic and foreign books and theses related to parents with the disabled children suitable for the purpose of this study were analyzed. The results of this study are described as follows. Firstly, in analyzing the current status of education for parents, it is required to develop and plan how to educate parents facilitating to induce the active participation of parents. In other words, diverse methods such as workshop to induce active participation of parents among many kinds of ways such as individual consulting, group consulting, lecture, discussion, workshop and home correspondence need to be planned and activated. To this end, progressive interests and financial investment of government and each organization are essentially required. Next, in planning and configuring the education programs for parents, it is necessary to set up the programs that can accommodate the needs of parents with the disabled children. It means that it is necessary to improve awareness on the necessity of education programs for parents, to develop a wide range of programs in accordance with desires of parents and integrated with educational curriculum of schools(educational institutions), to carry out programs using electronic media and to activate consulting programs for parents and parents' groups. Finally, dynamic supports of government and relevant organizations are required in terms of support for parents. It suggests that they need to support alternative resources that the parents with the disabled children can utilize such as physical resources, material resources, beliefs and problem solving resources. In accordance with the results of investigation above, this study found that for improvement of educational rehabilitation and welfare of disabled children through the education for their parents, a wide range of social educational institutions including school and groups and education related personnel as well as parents need to be concentrated on education. Moreover, the education for parents shall be dynamically deployed in terms of life-long education beyond the positive and limited activities of parents in terms of event like activities in the past. Furthermore, for this purpose, the progressive policies and financial supports from national and social institutions are required.
