This Study was done to see how joining health clubs affected married woman contentment in leisure and living. The research was done amongst 300 married women who live in Pusan. The research was done using cluster sampling. These married women are from six districts in Pusan. I visited them personally to explain what this research is about, and they filled out their responses to the questionnaire themselves. 237 women responded in depth. 63 women did not provide complete responses, these 63 questionnaires were discarded. The conclusions of this research are based on the responses from the 237 that responded well. 1. Basic Statistical background factors regarding married woman contentment in leisure and living. 1) According to the persons age, the level of satisfaction in their leisure and living shows little correlation, but those women over 60 ranked the highest. 2) According to the educational background of the subjects, there was little difference in their satisfaction with the clubs facilities, social satisfaction, and psychological satisfaction; however, there appears to be some difference in their physical satisfaction and quality of life satisfaction. 3) According to the monthly income, there appears to be a statistical difference in their satisfaction with the clubs facilities, physical satisfaction, and psychological satisfaction. The higher income subjects appear to have a higher level of satisfaction. 2. Contentment in leisure and living according the subjects level of participation. 1) According to the amount of participation (work-out) time, the contentment in leisure and living shows a statistical difference in their satisfaction with the clubs facilities and physical satisfaction; the longer they worked out, the higher their satisfaction levels were 2) According to the frequency of participation, the contentment in leisure and living showed statistical differences in their satisfaction with the clubs facilities, social satisfaction, psychological satisfaction, physical satisfaction and quality of life satisfaction. The more frequent the participation, the higher their satisfaction levels were. 3) According to the time since first beginning a work-out program, the contentment in leisure and living showed statistical differences in social satisfaction and quality of life satisfaction. The longer the period since first beginning a work-out program, the higher the satisfaction levels were. 3.
