The each melody is a doubleness canon, to vertically retrogression canon, to horizontally Theme, it is developed to classic. this is new harmony to polyphony form and twelve-tone technique. The second movement is composed of 11 phrase and 7 variation. The theme is composed of small ternary form symmetry perfectly. And 7 variation is composed of symmetry form which 4 variation being is the middle of that. So the whole structure is taken a mutual organic ternary form. At the second movement, as like the 1st movement it is composed of rhythm, by symmetry and variedly as matter of counterpoint-technique and combination of vertical form, tone-color of instrument, rhythm, dynamic. On this thesis , after multiple analysis for all symphony op.21 by A.Webern, we certified the musical specialty and effect on the modern music as following: (1)It was used a copy of counterpoint as canon without repetition and sequence. That is finished the modern counterpoint of serie. (2)The special organization of instrument way become a basis for modern music using tone-color as expression technique and effect painting of his pointillism. (3)In this work it is proved new possibility of atonalism by trying musical element of romanticism. So he finished the symphony of sonata, variation by using the serie technique form a atonalism standpoint. That is, planed the basis which the classical form is to continued to new period.
