The object of this study is to improve the police administration service and the work performance of police officers, through the analytic ground to increase job satisfaction and to solve the role conflict by setting the role conflict as a main factor among many factors to influence the job satisfaction between the role conflict and the job satisfaction of police officers and explaining the factors of the role conflict. This study adopted organization structure, physical environment, achievement motive, role conflict and job satisfaction as major variables, selected experience index between major variables, measure index and then measured the relation between role conflict and job satisfaction depending on the variables of organization. The analytic results on the correlation to verify hypothesis show that the job satisfaction is negatively related to the role conflict, and is positively related to organization structure, individual characteristic and environmental characteristic. The person role conflict is negatively related to organization structure, individual characteristic and environmental characteristic, inter-sender conflict is negatively related to only the formalization and communication of organization structure, and role overload conflict is negatively related to organization structure, individual and environmental characteristics. To verify hypothesis, stage-regression analysis ways are used in multiple regression analysis. First, regression analysis on job satisfaction of the types of role conflict. To see how much each type of role conflict affects job satisfaction, the hypothesis Ⅰ is set that if role conflict is high, job satisfaction will be low and the result to verify it shows that person role conflict and role overload conflict have a similar effect on but not inter-sender conflict. Second, the regression analysis on person role conflict the factors of organization structure, individual characteristic and environmental factors. To see how much the factors of organization structure, individual characteristic and environmental factors affect person role conflict, the hypothesis Ⅱ is set that "if the preference of organization structure ,individual characteristic and environment is high", person role conflict will be low, and the result to verify it shows that achievement motive, formalization, communication and participation statistically have a similar effect on it, but not environment. Third, the regression analysis on inter-sender conflict of the factors of organization structure, individual characteristic and environmental factors, the hypothesis Ⅲ is set that "if the preference of organization structure, individual characteristic and environment is high", inter-sender conflict will be low, and the result to verify it shows that formalization statistically has a similar effect on it, but not achievement, communication, participation, and environment. Fourth, the regression analysis on role overload conflict of the factors of organization structure, individual characteristic and environmental factors. To see how much the factors of organization structure, individual characteristic and environmental factors affect role overload conflict, the hypothesis Ⅳ is set that "if the preference of organization structure, individual characteristic and environment is high", role overload conflict will be low, and the result to verify it shows that environment, formalization, and participation statistically have a similar effect on it, but not achievement motive and communication.
