This study attempts to analyse the convenient facilities and the Facility Promotion Law for the disabled through the cognition investigation, and to provide the basic data on the improvement methods of the convenient facilities for the disabled.
To carry out this study, projects can be supposed as follows.
First, it analyses the general cognition about the convenient facilities for the disabled.
Second, it analyses the cognition about how much the public officials obey the Facility Promotion Law.
Third, it gropes for the improvement methods about the convenient facilities for the disabled.
To solve these projects, the questionnaires are collected by the university students of major in special education, the general university students, the disabled's parents, the parents of students, the teachers, and the public officials from July 1st, 2004 to April 30th, 2005. After analysing the results from the questionnaires, the frequency, the percentage and the crosstabs with a background variable are calculated through the statistical program. With these methods of study, this thesis is written.
According to the results of projects and the discussion about them, the suggestions for the improvement methods on the convenient facilities for the disabled are as follows.
(1) the conversion of cognition on the convenient facilities
(2) the extension of supply in quantity and in quality
(3) the amplification of the convenient facilities for the blind and the deaf
(4) the reinforcement of the management and supervision after the fact
(5) the insurance of the public finance
(6) the enlargement of the personal service
(7) the introduction of the fair public hearing
The basic materials for study are derived from above these.
The conclusions of this study are as follows.
First, in setting up the convenient facilities, the government should promote the policies for the disabled by a strong will, and prepare for the law and system plan with making a budget.
Second, in carrying out the Facility Promotion Law, the government and the civil group should be leading for the its public information and the cognition improvement for the disabled.
Third, in obeying the Facility Promotion Law, it requires the special counter measures for public officials to dissolve the cognition difference as their work field.
