영문초록:This study was undertaken to determine interactions between isoflavones, phenolic compounds, anthocyaninsconcentration of soybean and its each components part; embryo, cotyledon and seed coat. The 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenger activity was measured for nine soybean (Glycine max L.) varieties and components. The average total concentration of isoflavone was 2886.61 μg g-1 in the embryo, 574.96 μg g-1 in whole seed, 326.89 μg g-1 in the cotyledon, and 32.79 μg g-1in the seed coat. Isoflavone was highest in the Geomjeongkong 2 (5701.43 μg g-1) embryo, the Geomjeongol- kong (1321.19 μg g-1) whole seed, the Heugcheongkong (951.04 μg g-1) cotyledon, and the Keunolkong (56.25 μg g-1) seed coat. It was least present in the Keunolkong (341.43 μg g-1) embryo, the Hwaeomputkong (175.29 μg g-1) whole seed, the Seonheukkong (81.04 μg g-1) cotyledon, and the Seoklyang- putkong (5.05 μg g-1) seed coat. Among the 26 phenolic compounds, 21 phenolic compounds were detected. The average total concentration of phenolic compounds was 706.02 μg g-1 in seed coat, 182.08 μg g-1 in embryo, 87.34 μg g-1 in whole seed and 50.20 μg g-1 in cotyledon. Galmikong was the highest in seed coat (916.54 μg g-1) and in whole seed (158.71 μg g-1), Geomjeongkong 2 (287.10 μg g-1) in embryo and Heugcheongkong (100.77 μg g-1)in cotyledon. Among the individual phenolic compounds, syringic acid (214.36 μg g-1) was the highest in seed coat, and chlorogenic acid (31.31 μg g-1) was in embryo. Myricetin was the highest both in whole seed (16.71 μg g-1) and cotyledon (15.99 μg g-1). The average total concentration of anthocyanins was 1871.73 μg g-1in the seed coat, 110.46 μg g-1 in the whole seed, 0.84 μg g-1 in the embryo, and 0.62 μg g-1 in the cotyledon. Geomjeongkong 2 contained most in both seed coat (4588.40 μg g-1) and whole seed (299.95 μg g-1), and Seonheukkong in both embryo (1.89 μg g-1) and cotyledon (1.11 μg g-1). Heugcheongkong had the least in both embryo (0.12 μg g-1) and cotyledon (0.02 μg g-1), while Hwaeomputkong was the lowest in both seed coat (0.15 μg g-1) and whole seed (0.06 μg g-1).The average of DPPH radical scavenging activity was 42.0% in seed coat, 20% in whole seed, 13.8% in embryo, and 7.1% in cotyledon. The highest content was Galmikong for both seed coat (79.0%) and whole seed (29.8%), followed by Hwaeomputkong (17.4%) and Geomjeongkong 2 (17.3%) in the embryo, and Ilpumgeomjeongkong (9.2%) in the cotyledon. DPPH radical scavenging activity had a high level (***probability < 0.001) of correlation with phenolic compounds (0.65***) and anthocyanins (0.74***), whereas it had no correlation with isoflavone concentration
