In order to attain the purpose, from total 749 classes of 26 families of Korean monocotyledons, 26 classes of 19 families were made into temporary sampling and paraffin method for observation. Stele types were classified based on shape of stem, availability of anomalous cambium, availability and position of aerenchyma, availability and position of bundle sheath fiber surrounding stem in a ring shape and arrangement shape of vascular bundle. Total 15 different types were observed namely, Zea, Lilium, Cymbidium, Dendrobium, Setaria, Allium, Canna, Cyperus, Narcissus, Commelina, Potamogeton, Acorus, Hydrilla, Luzula and Yucca.
