This study is a comparative study on relative influence of family's·peer's·teacher's support on self-identity of middle school student. Such factors including socio-demographic variables(sex, age, father's educational background, mother's educational background, family income), family's support, peer's support, and teacher's support were selected as independent variables to compare and analyze the influence which puts impact on the development of self-identity(Stability, goal-oriented, Uniqueness of self-existence, role recognition of interpersonal relationships, self-acceptance, and self-argument). According to correlation analysis for 15 variables used in this study for hypothesis verification, the relatively high variables were family income and family’s support, family support and self-identity, peer’s support and role recognition of interpersonal relationship, teacher’s support and goal-oriented, stability and self-identity. Especially, a high correlation was found between goal-oriented and self-identity, and variables such as uniqueness of self-existence, self-acceptance, and self-argument had very high correlation with self-identity. When taking a closer look at the analysis results, significant correlation was found with other independent variables except age among 6 subordinate variables of self-identity (stability, goal-oriented, uniqueness of self-existence, role recognition of interpersonal relationship, self-acceptance, self-argument) which is the socio-demographic independent variable and dependent variable. A variable which was correlated with sex was stability, and it showed no significant correlation with other dependent variables. Also, variables which had significant correlation with family income were 5, excluding role recognition of interpersonal relationship. Among those variables, correlation with self-acceptance was relatively high. In addition, for relative influence of independent variables which put impact on the self-identity were peer’s support(β=.394) and family’s support (β=.263) in order. For stability, only the peer’s support(β=.326)put impact on the variable. For goal-oriented, family’s support(β=.291), teacher’s support (β=.161), and peer’s support(β=.120)influenced on the variable in order. Also, for role recognition of interpersonal relationship, only the peer’s support (β=.533) was put on influence. For self-acceptance, variables such as family’s support(β=.265), peer’s support(β=.200), and teacher’s support(β=.112 )showed relative influence in order. Lastly, for self argument, peer’s support(β=.279) and family’s support(β=.179) showed relative influence of independent variables. In conclusion, peer’s support showed significant influence on the dependent variable self-identity’s subordinate variables such as stability, uniqueness of self existence, role recognition of interpersonal relationship, and self argument. Next, family’s support put significant influence as a whole on the following subordinate variables of self-identity such as goal-oriented, self acceptance and self identity. Lastly, the teacher’s support put significant influence on the following subordinate variables of self-identity such as goal-oriented and self-acceptance, and showed relatively low influence on self-identity when compared to family’s support and peer’s support.
