This study attempted to make researches about reader-response of adolescent readers with different reading self-efficacy showing after reading to literary texts. In order to achieve this goal, settings for research objectives as follows. First, Are there differences in amount of reader-response to literary texts of different adolescent readers with reading self-efficacy? Second, Are there differences in contents of reader-response to literary texts of different adolescent readers with reading self-efficacy? This research was made on 4 girl students in their 2nd grade of middle school in GyeongGi-do S city and research period was April 12 to March 3. During that period, the classes were conducted two times a week, 70 minutes at a time for a total of 8 times. The Reading self-efficacy test was conducted the relationship between reader-response and self-efficacy to investigate and used the type of Choi analysis to reader-response for literary texts. And the students in the class talking freely, the subjects responses were analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study comprehensive as follows. There were all differences in amount and contents of reader-response to literary texts of adolescent readers with different reading self-efficacy. The students of high reading self-efficacy are more than low reading self-efficacy active role during class, and the amount of response was more. And the students of high reading self-efficacy are more low reading self-efficacy more than the emotional response. In particular, student social recognition a subordinate factor of high reading self-efficacy was active in reader-response.
