This study is to examine the understanding and the utilization for Vaganova method of arts high school ballet teacher and is aimed at providing the high-quality education to the students with the utilization of the systematic and coherent Vaganova method based on the correct understanding of the current situation. In order to achieve the object of this study,75 major ballet questionaries have been distributed to the high school teachers in Seoul, and Gyeonggi Province and 70 questionaries were used for final analysis except the materials of teachers who have not completed Vaganova method or responded insincerely. Data processing methods included the frequency analysis and the percentages for examining teachers' general characteristics (gender, teaching experience and student grade) and did cross-utilization analysis Chi-square test for examining the understanding and the utilization and then the correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 12.0 statistical program have been conducted for examining the effects on the utilization by the understanding. Several conclusions were drawn from the research method and process as follows. First, the result of the understanding of Vaganova Method (Vaganova method) according to the art school ballet teacher's general characteristics (gender, education, career, your grade) shows that as for gender results a woman was rather higher on the eight sub-factors and teachers with more than 11 years of experience according to the result of teaching experience and the senior grade teacher teachers according to the students grades are relatively high . However, there were no significant difference statistically. Thus, it shows that the level of the understanding of art school ballet teacher for Vaganova method is little different for general characteristics. Second, the result of the utilization of Vaganova Method (Vaganova method) according to the art school ballet teacher's general characteristics (gender, education, career, your grade) shows that as for gender results a woman was rather higher and teachers with more than 11 years of experience according to the result of teaching experience and the senior grade teacher teachers according to the students grades are relatively high . Based on these results art high school teacher should understand and complete the Vaganova Ballet Method to take advantage of it systematically with uniformity and the mutual cooperation between teachers in each grad level should be applied to the class. The class also needs to consist of proper movement of uniformity relatively and Vaganova Ballet Method should be reorganized considering Korea education circumstances and physical characteristics of students. To become the outstanding and high- performing teacher, the advantage and disadvantage should be remedied and assimilated into them mutually based on their own experiences and knowledge. In addition, the basis and the foundation of teachers' own methodology should be the Vaganova Ballet Method of the proven methodology.
