The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness between the 2nd method of Multiresidue Method in Food Code and QuEChERS(AOAC 2007.01) Method for the simultaneous analysis of multiclass pesticides in fruits and vegetables by comparing and analyzing linearity, accuracy and reproductivity. Selected fruit and vegetable sample from imported farming produce such as bananas, pineapples, Chun-Hae-Hyang(Orange Substitute), green grape, carrot and green pepper which require fast and accurate analysis, and then 28 different kinds of pesticides which LC/MS/MS analysis is applicable were applied. For both analysis methods, the coefficient of determination(R2) for each sample was in the range of 0.9910-0.9999. The reproductivity for both analysis methods was tested using average recovery and relative standard deviation in three iteration tests for two different concentration level, then confirmed it might be verified within 70 to 120% range and below 20%. In the case of green grape, The recovery of methomyl for two conc. level were confirmed 65.4% and 65.0% in 2nd method of Multiresidue Method in Food Code for the simultaneous analysis of multiclass pesticides in fruits and vegetables. But on the other hands, those were 104.0% and 104.6% in QuEChERS method. Furthermore, the recovery of fenarimol were 71.9% and 67.8% in Food Code method but those were 101.7% and 103.0% in QuEChERS method. And it was confirmed that the recovery of triflumizole were 52.5% and 47.8% in Food Code method while those were 97.8% and 88.7% in QuEChERS method. Comparing those recovery confirmed QuEChERS method showed better effectiveness than Food Code method. Therefore, utilizing simple and accurate analysis method which can verify multiclass pesticides simultaneously, this comparison study of effectiveness is to be expected to be a basic reference to prove the superiority of QuEChERS method and application possibilities.
