Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer is perennial plant belong to the Araliaceae family. That has been used as a traditional medicine for thousands of years. The most important health beneficial compounds in ginseng are ginsenosides and phenolics. So far, There have been many studies focusing on the ingredient contents and effective component contents of ginsenosides from ginseng. However, most studies have been conducted with ginseng roots rather than other ginseng parts. Most researchers are less attracted by ginseng leaves and fruits. So, this study identified antioxidative activity contents and the each phenolic compound contents of ginseng. Accordingly, in this study, ginseng of leaves, fruit and roots were separated and individual 23 phenolic compound contents and the total phenolic contents were analyzed. Additionally, the contents of DPPH free radical scavenging activities of fresh ginseng from 3 different parts in relation to the years were measured. Total phenolic contents of fruit part in 4 different years were shown the highest in five year (2820 μg g-1). In the second place, there was high total phenolic contents in six year (2676 μg g-1), and detected four year (2286 μg g-1), three year (2274 μg g-1). Leaf part of four year was shown particularly significant difference in comparison with leaf six year. Consequently, there was a very distinct difference among the fruit part, the leaf part and the root part. A three year to five year continues to increase, total phenolic concentration of Fruit part was determined. While, leaf part showed a low levels by old years, but there was no difference between comparison years of root part. And this study was determined individual phenolic compound contents in the fresh ginseng from 3 different parts and 4 different years. Fruit part was contained large amounts of total of the 11 phenolic acids, the 10 flavonoids and the 2 others groups from fresh ginseng. There was the largest quantity of total 23 phenolic compounds of all fruit in five year (2518.13 ± 52.13 μg g-1) cultivated. On the other hand, root part was not contained large amounts of total of three groups. Studies have shown that ginseng contained a lot of phenolic contents in aerial parts than subterranean parts. In this experiment, fruit part was composed of high phenolic contents among them. The second was composed of leaf part and the third was composed of root part. In this study, antioxidant activities of fresh ginseng [Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer] from 3 different parts in 4 different years are described. All of parts, fruit part included the highest DPPH free radical scavenging activity that ranged between 88.28 % and 92.42 %. Fruit part of four year had the highest DPPH free radical scavenging activity and fruit part of five year had the lowest. Root part belong to subterranean parts shown good antioxidant activity in order of six year, five year, four year and three year. Leaf part belong to aerial parts indicated a higher DPPH free radical scavenging activity according to three year (85.17 %), five year (84.37 %), four year (83.52 %) and six year (79.43 %). This experiment analyzed DPPH free radical antioxidant activity was higher in fruit part and then second was higher in leaf part and the last was root part. In conclusion, Most of the three parts, fruit part appeared the highest phenolic concentrations and antioxidant activity by this experiment results.
