Dead loads is only considered in the general design of system supports without a review on horizontal loads such as wind loads at most sites in order to prevent collapse of system supports under constructions. Unlike permanent structures, it is not easy to clearly define the level of applied wind loads on system supports which have short setting term between installation and disassembly. In this thesis, for system supports constructed in general design levels, wind loads considering construction period, which means setting term, were calculated to define the level of applied wind loads. Then, structural responses and safety level of system supports with calculated wind loads were examined and compared to those of system supports with the level of wind loads following various standards and specifications for permanent and temporary structures. To analyze structural safety of system supports by applied wind loads in accordance with construction period, methods of applying wind loads in each standard of permanent structures and temporary structures were first investigated. And, the magnitude of applied wind loads was calculated. After applying the calculated results in system supports, responses by the each wind load were analyzed and compared through structural analysis. Finally, the maximum combined stress ratios were calculated to evaluate the structural safety of system supports. As result of analyzing influence of wind loads in accordance with construction period after applying basic wind speed of 35 m/s, the combined stress ratio increased from 0.833 (0.5 years) to 0.960 (5.0 years) as construction periods increased. In system supports, the load combination which does not include wind loads dominated structural safety in construction periods of 1.5 years or shorter. But, in case of system supports considering wind loads with construction periods of more than 1.5 years, structural safety was dominated by the load combination including wind loads. Thus, it is thought that wind loads level should be applied in accordance with construction periods when reviewing the safety of system supports. Looking into the response by change of basic wind speed according to regions, it is no need to consider wind loads in basic wind speed of 30 m/s. However, it was analyzed that wind loads must be considered in basic wind speed of 40 m/s or above. Also, wind loads must be considered in system supports of basic wind speed of 35 m/s starting from construction period of 1.5 years. The standard specification for temporary work was analyzed as a incorrect standard for evaluating wind loads, since it underestimated the response of system supports in accordance with construction period. In regions with basic wind speed of 35 m/s, the wind load of 2 years or under in standard specifications for temporary construction was estimated to be 0.43 year construction periods. In regions with basic wind speed of 35 m/s, the wind load of 5 years or under was the level of 2.91 year construction periods. As result of comparing wind loads level of support installing guide for concrete bridge construction to wind loads level in accordance with construction period, basic wind speeds of 35 m/s, 40 m/s, and 45 m/s regions showed 3 years, 1 year, and 0.5 year construction periods, respectively.
