This thesis intends to provide basic data for optimized programs to enhance performance by compare-analyzing effects of application to combat sports players of linear periodization(LP) training, daily undulating periodization(DUP) training, and set undulating periodization(SUP) training on body composition according to cyclisation traits, 1RM, isokinetic strength glowth hormone(GH) and insulin growth factor-like(IGF-I): Participants (n=30), who were elite combat sports athletes in Y University, were randomly assigned into three groups: Group LP (n=10); Group DUP (n=10); Group SUP (n=10). In training treatment, they performed 3 sets of Back Squat, Bench Press, Dead Lift, Military Press for three times per one week for 12 weeks. The results are as followed: 1. Body composition in the periodization training group showed statistically significant interaction effect on lean body mass, but with no statistically significant interaction effect in weight, body fat rate, and BMI. Time showed statistically significant difference in weight, and lean body mass, with little statistically significant difference in body fat rate and BMI. Groups hardly showed statistically significant difference in all of weight, fat reduction, body fat rate, and BMI. 2. 1RM changes in the periodization training group showed statistically significant interaction effect in Back Squat & Bench Press, with little statistically significant interaction effect in Dead Lift & Mili-tary Press. Time showed statistically significant difference in all of Back Squat, Bench Press, Dead Lift & Military Press. Groups showed statistically significant difference in Bench Press but with little statistically significant difference in Back Squat, Dead Lift & Military Press. 3. Changes in isokinetic strength in the periodization group showed statistically significant interaction in 60°/sec flexor muscle, but with little statistically significant interaction effect in extensor muscle. Time showed statistically significant difference in flexor & extensor. 180°/sec flexor & extensor showed little statistically significant interaction effect and groups didn't showed statistically significant interaction effect in flexor & extensor. Time showed statistically significant difference in flexor & extensor. 240°/sec flexor & ext-ensor didn't show statistically significant interaction effect, nor did groups show statistically significant difference in flexor & extensor. Time showed statistically significant difference in flexor & extensor. 4. Changes in blood test in Periodization training groups showed statistically significant interaction effect in GH, but with didn't showed statistically significant interaction effect in IGF-I. Time showed statistically significant difference in both GH & IGF-I, Groups showed statistically significant difference in IGF-I, yet with didn't showed statistically significant difference in GH. To sum up the above, the results indicate that SUP groups tended to increase relatively high on average in body composition, 1RM, isokinetic strength, and hormones, especially SUP in 1RM increased in Bench Press, and DUP in IGF-I statistically high increased in hormones. Accordingly, this thesis is expected to be a good reference that training with frequent stimulation like SUP brings about various positive changes that lead to enhanced performance of players.
