This study was carried to analyze the distribution and diversity of beetles(Coleoptera: Carabidae) of Jiri mountain around the road(5 courses), This survey areas were the road 5 course around the Jiri mountain in southwest slope, and selected a control group northeast slope, and southwest slope by setting the control plot and forest areas, be classified, This investigation method, were pitfal-trap, net sweeping, the results were studied in method is as follows. The number of monthly collected individual, May is 332 individuals, June 560 individuals, July is 501 individuals, most often in August and 955 individuals, from September to October, it has been collected in 736 individuals. Advanced by the number of individuals beetles that have been collected by altitude in the 300m, the total 474 objects, 975 individuals in the 400m, the 500m in 657 individuals, 600m or more has been the most collected in 978 individuals. The distribution slope, 9 and 26 species 1530 individuals in the southwest slope, in the northeast slope, were collected 11 and 33 species 1554 individuals. Southwest slope diversity is also an index 2.224 (0.966) evenness 0.683 dominance 0.156, northeast slope diversity was also analyzed in the index 2.079 (0.903) evenness0.595 dominance 0.240.
